How to find your own sense of style How many times have I heard “I have lots of clothes in my wardrobe, but I never have anything to wear”. This is a common complaint by many women as they buy something random because they like it but don’t but don’t anything in their wardrobe to wear with it. Here are some ideas on how to find your own sense of style, using the clothes in your wardrobe. Wearing them in a different way to find your own sense of style. How to find your own sense of style It’s all about finding your own unique style which will develop over the years. So how do you do that? Social media and magazines are a good place to start. Look and see how outfits are put together, see how the clothes are styled in the shops and on the manikins. I like to people watch, wherever you are and see how other ladies put outfits together. When you are not looking to buy anything and find a gem.

When you are not looking to buy anything and find a gem. When you are not looking to buy anything that is usually when you do see something you like. This happened to me recently, Bob and I often walk into town with our dog Rosie and stop for coffee before walking home again. Last week I just popped into John Lewis to go to the toilet before walking back and guess what? At the top of the escalators was a sale rail of dresses. This one was screaming at me, so a quick call to Bob to let him know I was trying it on. When you are not looking to buy anything and find a gem. When you are not looking to buy anything and find a gem. These are my favourite colours, and it is so nice to be able to find a dress that is this length. This is not the best time to shop as the sales are on the way out, and the winter stock is coming in. I still want to stay in summer clothes for as…

Not only to how you look but how your clothes look too. I go to a regular yoga class and each week we work on a different part of the body. This week we were working on our shoulders and so many of us are round shouldered due to sitting at a desk on our computers or mobile phones. Does your posture alter the look of your outfit? I was bullied for being tall and thin so thought it was not good to be that way. I wanted to be small and petite but I think that was because I wanted to blend in and not stand out. Fast forward till now, I am proud of my height, I love my long legs even though it is a problem ordering trousers to ensure they are long enough. It is important to stand tall. I love giraffes as many of you know and look how graceful they are standing full height. This photograph was taken last November at my niece’s wedding…
