Faux leather always seems to be on trend and now the shops are full of it. I have two skirts which I have had years one black and the other chocolate brown. You can dress them up with a nice silk blouse or wear them more casual with a chunky jumper.

I have just bought myself a pair of faux leather trousers, which took buying several pairs to find the right ones. Denim jeans are not my thing, but I have several pairs which I wear at home or out and about with the dog. These faux leather trousers are jean styled with a straight leg. Be careful when ordering as I found many of them are ankle grazers which I can’t stand. Having long legs, they always look like they have had a row with my shoes. The standard leg in River Island is apparently 31″ which I can just get away with wearing flat boots or trainers. These come from River Island not a shop I usually shop in. They come in Black, Brown, and dark green.
There are lots of different styles out there. I found some are like a jogging bottom, wide leg, the wide leg finishing on the calf, slim leg, and jeggings. The choice is yours for your body shape and style. In my mind you are never too old to wear this trend.
I chose brown as I know that I have lots of jumpers, blouses and top that I can wear with them.
Leather/faux leather biker jackets.
Biker Jackets are like denim jackets they are wardrobe staples and will be in your wardrobe for years to come. I have a navy blue one and a suedette one in a tan that have been in my wardrobe for a long time. This faux leather one from Next is very reasonable at £59.00 the suedette one is £62.00. This particular one comes in Black, Khaki green, and camel.

If skirts are your thing I found this one in Next. This skirt is crafted in a soft faux leather, and features a stylish seam detail and is fitted with a zip fastening. Team it with an oversized sweatshirt and trainers for a relaxed look. Or dress it up with a crisp white shirt tucked in with heals.
Final thoughts.
Here I have shown a few faux leather items that will be in your wardrobe for years to come. If you prefer to have leather of course you can but your investment will be more. BUT as I have said before if you work out price per wear, you can justify the price. You could consider looking in charity shops, or pre-loved sites online and grab a bargain that way.
