I am a follower of Mark Heyes on Good Morning Britian and last week he was at Goodwood Races. Apparently, the requirement for ladies at that weeks meeting is to wear Vintage Fashion and he showed some examples which I was really taken with. So, I decided to use his idea for this weeks blog.
Vintage Fashion

Florals are still very much on trend and can be found everywhere. I like this floral dress from Oasis.
It comes in at £48.00 and is not too short for the taller lady. If you wanted to, you could add a camisole underneath in one of the colours in the print. It is a very flattering style and cool to wear.

This blue Vintage Dress is from the Tall range from Dorothy Perkins and comes in at just £20.00 in the skater style. This is a lovely blue print and you could dress it down by adding a denim jacket or navy cardigan.
Fashion Tip
When choosing a floral item bare in mind that if you are a petite lady choose a small print as large flowers can be over powering. If you are a larger lady then go for the larger print as it will be more flattering.
There is so much out there so go and experiement, try a few things on and see what they look like, you might suprise yourself. Some things do not necessary look good on the hanger but are worth trying on.
