So – What is on Trend This Summer?

With the summer fast approaching we are all looking to build our summer capsule wardrobe, but what is on trend?  What should you be wearing this summer?  Here are a few ideas I would like to share with you.

The sleeveless jackets are every where and are a great way to update your wardrobe.  You can wear over a dress like this and over trousers and it is a great way to update any look. Choose a neutral colour and will go with several outfits in the wardrobe for maximum wear.

Trousers to wear this season appear to be wide leg and high or low waisted and slouchy so you can dress them up for work and casual for the weekend and it nice to know that they suit all body shapes.

The Maxi Dress  which always seems to be on trend and is one of my wardrobe essentials for the summer.  These do not have to be investment buys as they are all over the high street and at very affordable prices.  You don’t even have to wait to go on holiday to wear them they are great for a day out or a relaxed meal in the evening, or even a shopping trip the choice is yours. You don’t have to go for the dress why not try a long skirt instead this one has lots of lovely colours in it making it easy to team up with lots of different tops and blouses which makes lots of outfits suitable to wear to work.

 

 

Florals  are every where on the high street in the form of dresses take a look at this one in the new length which looks fabulous.  If dresses aren’t your thing, choose from trousers, tops and skirts they are everywhere.  You can wear them together or with plain accessories and you will be bang on trend.
