What to wear to keep warm in the snow

Did they cancel Spring this year? I must say that I hate the snow and this country does not cope very well with it either. Here are my top tips on what to wear to keep warm in the snow.

For me it is all in the layering and I personally prefer to wear natural fabrics. Start with some thermal underwear and there are some pretty pieces out there. I found these cream thermal vests in Debenhams normally £16.00 now reduced to £12.80. in their spectacular till Sunday. Looking at them you would think they are a normal camisole but will give you some extra warmth.

If you wanted something warmer than that, you can get short sleeved and long- sleeved tops for added warmth. These can be worn under a top or jumper.

The sales are still going on in many places if you need to update your winter coat and Debenhams have up to £25% off till Sunday.

Warm socks in your boots are a must and I bought before Christmas some fur innersoles to go inside your shoes from Primark at only £1.00 a pack and they are nice in my boots.

We all know that we lose all our heat out of our head, so it is a good idea to wear a hat. It also means you don’t have to carry an umbrella which is useful if it is windy as well. I found this hat in Next in this lovely Ochre colour at £14.00. This would brighten up any winter coat and comes in several colour combinations.

If you need a winter coat, there are lots of bargains now. If you pop in to Debenhams over the next few days, they do have their Spectacular on with up to 25% off many items on till Sunday.

Spring Fashion

I do love to look at the Spring fashion as it is a sign that we have warmer weather to come. You can also wear some of it now, but it is just a question of layering up to keep you snugly. If you see something that is new into the shops that you absolutely love I would say buy it now. Don’t wait till the weather gets warmer as you may be disappointed if you go back later and it is no longer available. I have done that so many times, so it is not worth it.

I love my coloured cardigans and they come in lots of lovely spring colours. In the summer they can be worn over a camisole. You can wear your thermal vest, with a long- sleeved t shirt or blouse like I have done here. I usually buy mine from  Marks & Spencer  they have then now at £16.00 in lots of lovely spring colours.
