I love the summer maxi dress they are so femimine, and lovely and cool in the hot weather. Dress them up or down as the mood takes you. They never seem to go out of fashion either. I have a couple in my summer wardrobe which come out each year. So, when do you wear the summer maxi dress?
On holiday
Is the first time that springs to mind. Some ladies like to cover up around the pool and there are some great cover ups out there. Worn with flip flops they look great and if they are a halter neck it doesn’t matter if your bikini straps show.
Day wear
You can wear them for day wear around town, going about your shopping on hot day enjoying the comfort that a maxi dress offers. Glam up your make up and add some statement jewellery and this dress will take you into the evening.
Summer weddings
Some weddings are not so formal these days and a summer maxi is just the thing. If it is a wedding on the beach you don’t have to spend a much as this dress, but if it is a posh wedding in a marque you might want to.
Black Tie Events
Black tie events are an occasion when ladies can dress up in a long dress if they want to and these dresses are easy to glam up with accessories. This dress here is a Jacques Vert Dress ideal for a wedding or black tie event.
I was personal shopping this week with a client, who was looking to buy a summer maxi for a wedding she is attending abroad. She was told to dress casual. We looked in all the High Street shops and found very little. Since then I have been looking online since and found the best selection at Kaleidoscope, which is where I found these two dresses. They have all prices ranging from around £25 up to this Jacques Vert dress at £169.
