I don’t know where this came from “Blue and green should never be seen unless there is a colour in between” but I know that it is not true. I always say that nature never gets it wrong. Think of the countryside and how the blue sky reaches the greenery, with trees, and fences it all blends in nicely. Do you think that blue and green should never be seen?
I am a great lover of navy in preference to black and I also love denim. So, I have lots of blue in my wardrobe. For me it is a very serviceable base colour that goes with lots of other colours I have in my wardrobe. Green is one of those colours and goes perfectly.
Do you think blue and green should never be seen?
Blue
Blue is a spiritual colour as well as a business colour. When we strive for success in business we reach for the sky, the stars, or the top of the mountain, all of which symbolically lead the eye up to the blue sky, thus representing high aspirations in general.
Wear blue when you want to appear trustworthy and loyal. Choose dark shade of the colour when you want to appear business-like. Wear pale shades of blue when you want to appear calm, innocent and naïve. Blue is the colour of logic so when you have you have that difficult email or letter to write.
The colour blue is cool and calming inspiring mental clarity and inner peace. It is known to refresh and relax you, sit and focus on the blue of the sky while breathing deeply.
Green
Green is a colour that calms your nerves, and it helps reduce muscular tension. Green is balance, and is situated at the dividing point between warm and cool colours. Green represents self-preservation. When negative, green represents jealousy, and we speak of being green with envy.
Wear green when you wish to appear calm and relaxed, but not when you want to appear pioneering or assertive.
Green is the colour of nature. We instinctively lean towards green when in need of balance or harmony which explains the popularity of gardening. Green is also good for the heart as it aids relaxation.
I love to wear both of these colours together and apart but I do think that they look great together. You need to get the two colours to tone together but that is easy enough.
