The Duchess of Sussex Megan is turning heads at her husband’s Polo match in a stunning denim dress. It is a Carolina Herrera dress with a hefty price tag. A 50’s style fitted to the waist with a large belt and flared out from there in a full skirt. Can you get the same look from the high street? Yes, here are a few of my suggestions on how to find a denim dress to suit you on the High Street.
Find a denim dress to suit you on the High Street
This is my first one from Boden at £75.00 It is semi fitted and online it is shown with as belt around the waist but I think I prefer it worn like this. It comes in a blue denim and in black for the winter and it also comes in two lengths which is always nice to see. It has two side pockets and an exposed zip down the back of the dress. The sleeves come down to the elbow and the dress finishes just about the knee.
What I like most about this dress is that it does not have a waist seam to it. This is particularly good if you are long in the waist like me.

The next one I have found is in Warehouse and they have several different styles to choose from. This dress is crafted with a v-shaped neckline, gathered short sleeves, midi silhouette and a classic button-down front with a self- tie belt. This retails at £45.00
How would you wear this dress?
I think I would put a nice coloured belt around the waist rather than the denim one and team a pair of sandals in the same colour. Any bright colour to bring the dress alive. You could also leave a few of the buttons undone and team with a colourful camisole underneath.
Another way you also may like to consider is to layer the dress over some trousers and leave the dress undone like a jacket. This is a nice versatile dress.

The next one I found in Oasis at £55.00 was the Angelica midi dress. This has flowing angel sleeves, a flattering V neck and girly tie waist, which is ties at the back. It has a full skirt but is fitted over the bust and down to the waist ton show off your figure. It also comes in a dark wash and a light blue denim.
They have team this dress with a casual pair of trainers for a sporty look. If you wanted to dress it up add some coloured shoes or sandals and perhaps some chunky jewellery in the neck.
