LOOKING GOOD HAS NEVER FELT SO GOOD!
Hi, I’m Sandra, a fully trained, independant Colour & Style Coach based in Chelmsford, Essex.
I am a lover of fashion. I worked in retail for many years, which I enjoyed immensley and developed some personal styling skills.
The turning point for me was when my husband paid for me to have my colours done. I think it has been the best present he has ever bought me. It was here that I discovered the wonder of colour.
I was analysed as a warm autumn many years ago. At that time I was very shy and wanted to blend in, I wore beige and cream as I didn’t want to stand out of the crowd. After this consultation I started to embrace colour and wear soft autumn colours like apricot and mustard and noticed how nice I felt wearing some level of colour.
As I progressed on my colour journey, and when I trained as a colour consultant many years later I learnt that I could wear the brighter spring colours which did so much more for me. This then inspired me to learn more about the energies of colour and how that makes you feel.
For example if I wear all grey I would feel all grey, if that makes sense! Whereas, if I wear bright red or orange, which are my favourite colours, I get lots of compliments when I wear these. This then makes me feel confident and able to be who I want to be.
My first passion is colour and how it makes you feel which is why I have also trained in Colour Therapy as well as Colour & Style Analysis. With this additional training, I am able to combine my knowledge when advising my clients.
Accessorising is my other passion and I love to show my clients how to add colour, in the form of a scarf or necklace to completely change the look of an outfit.
As a Colour & Style Coach I have at last found something that I really have a passion for.
I knew from the start that I didn’t want to train with one of the big franchises, I wanted to be an independent Colour & Style Coach. I wanted the freedom to own my own website and not to be tied into selling other franchises products. Allowing me to source my own my own products.
After many hours researching I found my trainer Sue Cocks from QCIC who has been in the business for many years. She has her own academy and it is here that I decided to train as a Colour and Style Analysis Coach, way back in January 2015. With a Wardrobe Weeding and Personal Shopping course completed in May 2017.
My training taught me that once you have learnt which colours are right for you and which tone is the most flattering, the rest it is easy. Some colours are worn to give you energy, whilst others are to be worn when you want to chill and relax.
As part of the course I also learnt how to give style advice for choosing clothes that suit both your shape, style and personality.
