Animal print always seems to be around and on trend, but how do you wear it? For those of us a certain age remembers Bet Lynch from Coronation Street who was famous for wearing head to toe animal print.  Here are my top tips on how to wear animal print.

Do you wear a little or a lot? It comes in several different prints and different colours so have fun with it.  Please be aware, you can overdo it. This 3/4 length animal print coat is from Marks & Spencer and retails at £35.00  Here it is pictured with black trousers and a black jumper.

Imagine it with a lovely bright pink jumper, wouldn’t that look fab. This is a versatile coat that would go with many things already in your wardrobe. When I think of animal print I tend to think of the brown/black combination but this I thought was different.

You can buy the print in just about everything from blouses/tops, jumpers and cardigans, skirts and leggings.  The key is to not wear too much at once and team it with plain colours.

If the coat is a step to far, try adding animal print to your accessories. There are loads of shoes out there flats or heals in various animal prints.  Here is a pair of leather loafers from Next at £45.00 which look fab. These I think you will have in your wardrobe for many years to come. Team them with some coloured skinny jeans, which you can wear now in the spring, before summer arrives.

Animal Print Accessories

I love this animal print scarf also from Next. It has a lovely lavender stripe going through it. This retails at £16.00 and would make a great accessory to any plain top and looks great in the neck of this leather jacket.

Other accessories you may like to consider are handbags and belts. On the jewellery front I have found bangles, ear rings and necklaces all in the print. I hope this has given you some ideas and that you like some of my top tips on how to wear animal print.
