I am often asked by clients who are having a colour consultation if the same goes for the make-up colours as well. The answer is YES of course. Here are my tips about wearing the right make up colours.
Are you wearing the right make up colours?
It is important to wear the correct colours in your make up for you skin tone, for the same reasons it is important to wear the correct colours in your clothes. I am Ambassador for Tropic Skincare. I have been using their products for many years so decided to join last year so I could buy my products at a discount.
Foundation?
Not everyone likes to wear foundation, and I am one of them. I only usually wear it if I am going out and putting on a full face. That’s why I like the mineral foundation that Tropic sell. It light and you can put on as much or as little as you like but it also has a SPF. Being a wash and go sort of girl it works for me, but Tropic has something for everyone.
A Warm Skin Tone
A warm skin has a yellow undertone, and the best blusher for you would be a peachy shade. Eye shadows should go with your colour pallet, all autumnal colours, teals, golds, browns and moss greens. Lipstick colours browns, russets, warm reds, peachy corals. Ideally a brown mascara but sometimes they are hard to find but I find they work well with a warm skin.
A Cool Skin Tone
A cool skin tone is usually a light colour with a hint of pink on the cheeks and lip colour. Go with the colour of your skin and choose a pink blusher. Eye shadows go with your colour pallet, blues, greys, lavender, and purple. Lipsticks choose, pinks, berry, and blue reds.

My favourite makeup product from Tropic.
My favourite makeup is the Complete Colour Pallet, it comes in a white pallet with a magnifying mirror inside. You can custom this to what works for you. At the top I have an eyebrow powder, working down I have a highlighter, two eye shadows in peach and green, blusher, and bronzer at the bottom. Here I have everything in one pallet what could be easier. The beauty of this is once one of the pallets has finished pop it out and add a replacement
